About The Position

Performing a variety of cleaning activities such as sweeping, mopping, dusting and polishing. Ensuring all rooms are cared for and inspected according to standards. Protecting equipment and making sure there are no inadequacies.

Requirements

• Must have basic reading and writing skills
• Ability to multi task regularly throughout the day.
• Requires good communication and organizational skills.
• Must be a self- motivator and willing to take on responsibilities with little supervision
• Regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear.
• Occasionally required to stand and walk.
• Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and ability to adjust focus.
• Ability to move between departments to interact with others.
• Consistent daily attendance required

Responsibilities

• Cleans break area: empties trash cans, wipes down tables, keeps chairs clean, sweeps and mops floor, wipes off vending machines.
• Cleans bathrooms, fills towel, tissue, soap and sanitary napkin dispenser.
• Cleans water fountains.
• Sweeps stairwells.
• Vacuums lobby and plant offices.
• Sweeps and mops knitting and seaming departments or finishing department.
• Adhere to company policies, including attendance and punctuality.
• Communicate with co-workers, management and others in a courteous and professional manner; Conform with and abide by all regulations, policies, work procedures and instructions including but not limited to confidentiality requirements.
