Requirements

Prior janitorial or groundskeeping experience preferred, especially in retail or outdoor environments.
Ability to operate equipment such as a street sweeper, pressure washer, blower, and utility vehicle (training provided).
Strong attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physical tasks such as bending, walking, and standing for extended periods.
Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.
Available for weekends, holidays, and occasional extended hours during special events or peak retail seasons.
Effective verbal and written communication skills.
Regular, consistent, and punctual attendance is an essential function of this position.
Able to pass a criminal background check and drug test.
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

Keeping the property clean, safe, and inviting from open to close.
Daily parking lot and sidewalk maintenance, litter and trash removal, restroom upkeep, and detail cleaning tasks across common areas and service areas.
Emptying, cleaning, and relining trash and recycling receptacles throughout the property continually; wiping and disinfecting exteriors daily.
Servicing public restrooms throughout the shift: restocking paper products and soap, cleaning and sanitizing fixtures, wiping down touchpoints, and spot mopping floors.
Wiping down and straightening benches, tables, and outdoor seating areas throughout the property each morning, and keeping them presentable all day.
Removing debris, cigarette butts, and litter from planters and landscaped areas throughout the shift.
Wiping down signage and water fountains, and keeping common areas neat and presentable.
Sweeping parking lots, loading docks, streets, and roads daily using a street sweeper; hand-picking debris from corners and tight spots.
Blowing debris from sidewalks and walkways into parking areas daily, picking up litter and gum.
Pressure washing sidewalks and walkways on a weekly rotating schedule using hot water and EPA-compliant degreasers.
Safely operating and maintaining cleaning equipment, including a street sweeper, pressure washer, blowers, and a utility vehicle.
Assisting with setup, cleanup, and teardown for property events.
Responding promptly to spills or other cleaning emergencies.
Reporting maintenance issues, safety hazards, or property damage to the Site Supervisor immediately.
