About The Position

CW Resources is hiring Custodians to help keep things clean and running smoothly. This role is ideal for individuals eligible for the AbilityOne Program, which offers employment opportunities and services to adults with disabilities. The work environment is primarily indoors in commercial buildings, with exposure to cleaning chemicals and varying temperatures. Reasonable accommodations can be provided. Must be able to obtain and maintain government base access.
Training provided for safe handling of cleaning chemicals and PPE is required.
Proper safety protocols and PPE in place for potential exposure to biohazardous materials or bodily fluids.
May encounter noise from cleaning machinery; hearing protection provided when necessary.

Responsibilities

Check in with supervisor and teammates to go over the cleaning plan and daily tasks.
Gather and load cleaning supplies such as mops, brooms, vacuums, and disinfectants.
Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors.
Take out the trash and replace bags.
Clean restrooms, refill supplies, and wipe down surfaces like tables, chairs, and doors.
Dust furniture, shelves, and vents.
Wipe windows, mirrors, and glass doors.
Conduct a final walk-through to ensure cleanliness and neatness.
Return tools and supplies to the storage area.
