About The Position

CW Resources is seeking a Janitor/Custodian to join their mission-driven team. This role involves maintaining cleanliness and safety in various commercial settings. The position requires obtaining and maintaining a Security Clearance, and CW staff will assist throughout the process. Applicants eligible for the AbilityOne Program are encouraged to apply. The job involves daily cleaning tasks, detailed cleaning, and end-of-shift duties such as restocking and reporting maintenance issues. No prior experience is necessary, as training will be provided.

Responsibilities

Checking in with supervisor and teammates, reviewing the cleaning schedule and tasks for the day.
Gathering cleaning supplies, tools, and equipment.
Sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors.
Emptying trash bins and replacing liners, recycling responsibly.
Cleaning restrooms, restocking supplies, and sanitizing surfaces.
Dusting furniture, fixtures, and vents.
Wiping down windows, mirrors, and glass doors.
Spot-cleaning walls and removing stains or marks.
Performing a final walkthrough to ensure spaces are clean, organized, and welcoming.
Restocking cleaning carts, reporting any maintenance issues, and communicating with the supervisor.
Returning equipment and supplies to the storage area and preparing for the next day.
