About The Position
Ballington Academy is a Public Charter School Educating Students from Transitional Kindergarten to Fifth Grade. We Offer an Innovative Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics (STEAM) Curriculum for all Grades Using a Hands-on Project-Based Learning Approach, Teaching Real-World, 21st Century Skills. We are seeking a caring individual to help support our Students and Teachers in San Bernardino, CA.
Requirements
- Must adhere to Volunteers of America and Ballington Policies and Procedures.
Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of general maintenance work to maintain facilities.
- Keep the facility free from trash.
- Floor cleaning.
- Power washing.
- Ensure safety protocols are followed.
- Adhere to Volunteers of America and Ballington Policies and Procedures.
- Upkeep all aspects of the school building.
- Maintain facility and equipment in proper working conditions.
- Paint, surface repair, and/or touch up interior and exterior of building.
- Put together furniture, and put away deliveries.
- Maintain cleanliness of all school areas such as hallways, classrooms and restrooms.
- Wash windows on a periodic basis.
- Maintain Safety Drill and Safety Protocol records.
- Keep storage sheds in neat order at all times and keep an inventory of the contents.
- Advise Principal of all safety hazards.
- Other duties as assigned.
