About The Position

CW Resources is seeking a Janitor/Custodian to maintain cleanliness and safety in commercial settings. This role is part-time and requires obtaining a Security Clearance, with assistance provided throughout the process. Applicants eligible for the AbilityOne Program are encouraged to apply. The position involves a variety of cleaning tasks, from sweeping and mopping to sanitizing restrooms and dusting surfaces, ensuring all areas are clean, organized, and welcoming.

Obtaining and maintaining the appropriate Security Clearance is required.

Responsibilities

Check in with supervisor and teammates, reviewing the cleaning schedule and tasks for the day.
Gather cleaning supplies, tools, and equipment.
Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors.
Empty trash bins and replace liners, recycling responsibly.
Clean restrooms, restock supplies, and sanitize surfaces.
Dust furniture, fixtures, and vents.
Wipe down windows, mirrors, and glass doors.
Spot-clean walls and remove stains or marks.
Perform a final walkthrough to ensure all spaces are clean, organized, and welcoming.
Restock cleaning carts.
Report any maintenance issues.
Communicate with the supervisor about any site-specific notes or concerns.
Return equipment and supplies to the storage area and prepare for the next day.
