About The Position

Maintains the general cleanliness of work areas, including walkways, break areas, offices, and outside areas within the facility perimeter. Provides a clean, safe, and welcoming work area for all associates.

Requirements

Ability to read and write simple English.
Knowledge of the safe general use of cleaning chemicals.
Minimum job experience required: 0–3 months.

Responsibilities

Clean restrooms and replenish supplies; inspect for general maintenance needs and report them to appropriate personnel.
Clean floors in all general walking areas within the facility.
Clean walkways, drinking fountains, and break areas inside and outside the facility; inspect for maintenance needs and supplies that require replenishment.
Remove lint, dust, oil, and grease from machines, overhead pipes, and conveyors using brushes, air hoses, or steam cleaners.
Collect reusable or recyclable scrap for salvage and store it in containers.
Keep the supply closet or cart clean and orderly.
Perform other duties as requested by the supervisor.
