About The Position
We seek energetic, organized Janitorial Member to properly clean and sanitize our toilets, urinals, sinks, floors, and other bathroom/public areas. This position is responsible to maintain bathroom, building, and janitorial area cleanliness during the shift. Must assist with trash removal, linen removal, mopping, sweeping, and/or other projects upon request.
Requirements
- Knowledge of basic sanitary guidelines.
- Knowledge of janitorial and chemical operations.
- Understanding of the English language and ability to communicate effectively with co-workers and managers.
- Must be able to speak and understand basic English phrases.
- Must be able to hear with 100% accuracy with correction.
- Must be able to see to 20/20 vision with correction.
Responsibilities
- Uses proper measurements of detergent and sanitizers to clean and disinfect.
- Removes all garbage.
- Restocks janitor’s closet products at the end of shift.
- Keeps dish and other storage areas clean and organized.
- Performs additional responsibilities, although not detailed as requested by a Manager at any time.
