About The Position
This position uses a pallet jack to bring packaging supplies from the box room to the Debone area. In addition, this position transports combos of product to the cooler. This position also helps in the packaging and manifesting of products. At the end of the shift this position is responsible for the removal of unused packaging material and trash from Debone, and any other duties as assign by supervisor. May involve running scales, baggers, and CVP. The qualified candidate will be required to take and pass the jack driver test.
Requirements
- Must be able to take and pass the jack driver test.
- Must provide government identification number to verify previous Tyson employment history.
- Applicants who have worked for Tyson Foods 3 or more times will not be accepted.
- Rehires are accepted after 180 days.
- Tyson reserves the right to require longer waiting periods or not accept rehires based on the reason for dismissal.
- Must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.
Responsibilities
- Transport pallets of product to and from Debone.
- Use a pallet jack to bring packaging supplies from the box room to the Debone area.
- Transport combos of product to the cooler.
- Assist in the packaging and manifesting of products.
- Remove unused packaging material and trash from Debone at the end of the shift.
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
- May involve running scales, baggers, and CVP.
