RMGS, Inc. is currently recruiting a J4 Logistics Planner Analyst ( Senior ) in MacDill AFB, Florida. This position is contingent upon contract award. The role involves understanding maintenance concepts and organizations across various levels, from tactical to strategic. The analyst will advise on service common equipment, Special Operations-peculiar (SO-p) portfolios, and other maintenance areas. Responsibilities include analyzing SOCCENT missions, executing management programs impacting supply, maintenance, and logistics, and coordinating funding. The position requires familiarity with various logistics automation systems to track equipment and advise leadership. The analyst will also understand the CENTCOM Area of Responsibility (AOR), analyze and report on maintenance issues, interact with officials, and implement property accountability for USSOCOM special programs. A key aspect is understanding and managing unit readiness data, preparing readiness briefs, and attending related meetings. The role also involves managing the Life Cycle Replacement (LCR) process for SO-p platforms and service common equipment, including understanding DOTMLPF Change Requests, Basis of Issue Plans, and unit equipment authorizations. The analyst will support logistics operations with a focus on maintenance, understanding all classes of supply and contributing to LOGCOP development. Familiarity with Department of Defense Activity Address Codes (DoDAACs) and Lines of Accounting (LOA) is necessary. The position requires tracking, monitoring, assessing, and reporting on SO-P equipment readiness issues, and developing field and sustainment maintenance concepts. This includes supply operations such as theater bench stocks, Class IX accounts, excess equipment retrograde, and contingency operations stocks. The analyst must be able to read and understand GCSS-A Equipment Status Reports and differentiate between items supported by DLA and SOCOM. Knowledge of Class III and IV items is beneficial. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Adobe Acrobat for analysis and briefings is required, as is knowledge management using Microsoft SharePoint. The role involves maintaining files for continuity, providing expert advice on maintenance and readiness, and preparing various documents and presentations. Developing and maintaining an electronic resource for mission continuity is also part of the role. Travel CONUS/OCONUS may be required.
