RMGS, Inc. is seeking a J37 Special Operations Forces (SOF) Joint Training and Exercise Designer and Planner (Journeyman) to be based at MacDill AFB, Florida. This role is contingent upon contract award. The position involves conducting scenario-based exercise design, planning, and scripting for exercises directed by the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff (CJCS) and other nominated exercises. The planner will provide subject matter expertise for the planning, coordination, integration, execution, and After-Action Reports (AAR) of assigned exercises within the global DoD exercise community. Responsibilities include serving as an exercise planner and designer for SOF Command Post Exercises (CPX), Tabletop Exercises (TTX), and Field Training Exercises (FTX) for Special Operations Command – Central (SOCCENT) in both CONUS and OCONUS locations. The role also entails designing, planning, and executing joint, combined training and exercise assessments to enhance joint readiness and interoperability, leading the planning of various readiness exercises, and preparing executive-level briefs and presentations for General/Flag Officers using Microsoft Office products and other SOCCENT-utilized communication methods. The planner will analyze and develop joint training and exercise objectives aligned with current joint doctrine and SOCCENT Exercise Division guidance, and evaluate exercise design throughout the joint exercise lifecycle, acting as the lead subject matter expert for assigned exercises.
