About The Position

We are seeking a motivated and service-oriented J-1 Intern/Trainee to join our Rooms Division team. This program offers hands-on experience across key guest-facing departments, including Front Office, Guest Services, and Communications. The ideal candidate is eager to learn, culturally curious, and passionate about delivering exceptional hospitality experiences. Participants will rotate through the following areas: Front Office: Guest check-in/check-out, reservations support, cash handling, and problem resolution. Guest Services: Concierge assistance, guest relations, amenity coordination, and service recovery. Communications: PBX operations, call handling, guest request coordination, and internal communication flow.

Requirements

Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a Hospitality, Tourism, or related program
Eligible for a J-1 Visa (Intern or Trainee category)
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Professional appearance and demeanor
Ability to work in a fast-paced, multicultural environment
Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays

Nice To Haves

Previous hospitality experience is a plus, but not required

Responsibilities

Provide warm, professional, and personalized service to all guests
Learn and follow brand and property service standards
Assist with daily operations in each assigned department
Handle guest inquiries, requests, and concerns promptly and effectively
Maintain clear and professional communication with team members and leadership
Support operational needs, including peak business periods, weekends, and holidays
Demonstrate adaptability while rotating between departments
