About The Position
The I.V. Admixture Technician Level II is a professional position for an individual who meets specific requirements and aims for a higher standard of practice and excellence. This role involves proficiency with computer order entry, problem-solving abilities, assisting in the training of other technicians for complex procedures, and the ability to prioritize tasks. Certification by the PTCB exam is required, along with above-average knowledge of I.V. technician practice. Requirements
- High school education or GED
- Ability to type
- Ability to work assigned shifts and provide coverage during all operating hours as needed
- Twelve months' experience as an I.V. Admixture Technician at CarolinaEast Health System
- Certification by the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB)
- Good interpersonal skills
- No disciplinary actions in the past twelve months
