The Intern will work within the ITV team with key directions on providing design, analysis, scripting and testing in the development of software and tools for train control systems of Thales Canada Transportation Solutions.

Requirements

Computer Science, Engineering or related discipline.
Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
Experience in automated testing.
Enthusiastic about new challenges.
Strong performer who can bring new ideas for Automation.
Provide good quality and workmanship.
Strong collaboration, communication and team skills.

Responsibilities

Performs integration and test activities in-house as per test plan
Prepares test reports which record the pass, fail status of planned tests and identify problems detected during the tests
Investigates test anomalies through analysis of data files, design documentation and interaction with development departments
Prepares problem reports in the defect tracking system describing test failures and defects
Identify test objectives and test cases
Keep current with company test processes and methods
Develop test scripts, execute tests, and monitor results
Develop reusable libraries for various projects.
Adhere to and promote standards for test development best practices
Collaborates and participates to achieve overall project success
Provides feedback on test automation frameworks for continues improvement
