About The Position

The University of Nebraska Foundation is seeking an ITS Business and Projects Analyst to provide technical services that enable the University of Nebraska to change lives and save lives. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy looking at the big picture, have a passion for working on low-to-moderate complexity projects, are highly adaptable, and are excited by the opportunity to support meaningful work across various initiatives. The foundation is currently in the public phase of a historic campaign to raise $3 billion, and this position will play a key role in supporting these efforts. The role is based in either the Lincoln or Omaha office and requires local travel.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience with certification.
  • 3-5 years’ experience in IT business and solution analysis.
  • Ability to work on low-to-moderate complexity projects.
  • Familiarity with project methodologies.
  • Strong oral and written communications.
  • Problem solving skills and analytical skills.
  • Ability to think strategically and make independent decisions.

Responsibilities

  • Recommend enhancement or changes from high-quality analysis to optimizing processes.
  • Coordinate projects as needed, including oversight from intake to completion.
  • Conduct timely project discovery and collaborate effectively with business stakeholders and ITS department.
  • Facilitate requirement reviews with all impacted participants.
  • Determine best-fit solutions while considering cost, resources, risk, and business impact.
  • Provide ongoing support during solution implementation by facilitating the transition and addressing post-implementation issues.
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with employees across the Foundation.
