Requirements

  • College Degree or equivalent work experience
  • Minimum 1 year retail sales management or branch experience and heavy retail and commercial customer contact environment
  • 2 years of direct supervisory experience
  • Knowledge of federal and state laws and regulations governing consumer banking
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Ability to analyze member problems and find beneficial solutions in a timely manner
  • Continued education through selected training courses
  • Windows, Microsoft Word & Excel skills

Responsibilities

  • Provide outstanding service to all members and identify and find solutions for their financial needs.
  • Service members and support branch growth and profitability through the expansion and organic growth of retail and commercial members and member relationships.
  • Coach personnel on advocacy, sales, and service techniques.
  • Schedule all personnel within the ITM department.
  • Select, train, and manage all ITM personnel.
  • Coach sales and service skills to ITM team members including Member Service Representatives (MSR’s) and Service Coordinators.
  • Assist in quality hiring for all ITM positions.
  • Assist Assistant Director Member Services and the AVP Member Services in the development of goals, compiling and analyzing goal results, making adjustments when goals are not met and celebrating when goals are met.
  • Coordinate and monitor workflow and productivity to ensure desired levels of accuracy, quality and quantity are maintained.
  • Monitor daily operation of the ITM room, according to written ITM operations standards, including adherence to security procedures.
  • Resolve member problems/respond to inquiries beyond the authority of other ITM personnel.
  • Maintain knowledge of competitors’ rates and terms and other trends related to the credit union industry and drive that knowledge with the ITM team.
  • Make recommendations to the Member Service leadership for changes and improvements in procedures concerning the ITM’s overall operations.
