As a member of the Items Processing Department, you will play an important role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of the bank’s daily transaction processing. Responsibilities include processing and balancing transactions received from branch staff, bank departments, mobile banking customers, and remote deposit customers; researching and correcting exceptions; and assisting frontline and back-office staff with transaction-related issues. Additional duties include preparing customer notices and supporting the bank’s end-of-day processing. This position provides valuable exposure to banking operations and transaction processing, offering opportunities to build skills and knowledge that can support future career growth within the financial services industry. Because the department performs the bank’s final end-of-day processing, team members must remain until all branch transactions have been received and processing is complete, typically ending around 6:15 p.m. Following successful completion of training, employees may be eligible for intermittent remote work.
