About The Position

Keywords Studios Montreal is looking for Italian speakers to join our Video Games Proofreaders team. This role involves working in an exciting and multicultural environment, utilizing linguistic skills to ensure the quality of video game content. The position requires effective communication in English for client and team interactions outside of Quebec, and offers a hybrid work model with potential for full-time, permanent openings.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Italian (spoken and written).
• Excellent written & spoken English.
• Ability to effectively communicate in English (both verbally and in writing).
• Live in the Montreal area.
• Available to work from home and in-office according to project demands.
• Authorized to work in Canada.
• Ability to juggle multiple tasks while managing your time efficiently.
• Comfortable with digital technologies (computers, video game consoles, touchscreens, etc.).
• An interest in the video game industry.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in a similar position or in a related field.

Responsibilities

• Proofreading texts and video game content for spelling, syntax, and typography.
• Checking texts for consistency and recommending changes.
• Writing error reports.
• Performing minor, simple translations.
• Ensuring subtitles match the audio tracks.
