About The Position

We are seeking an Italian Tutor to provide one-on-one or small group tutoring sessions to students of all skill levels in Italian, both online and in person. The tutor will assist students with homework and test preparation, utilize effective teaching strategies, monitor student progress, and provide feedback through session reports. Collaboration with classroom teachers to align tutoring with curriculum is essential. The role requires maintaining a safe and supportive learning environment and the ability to commute from client to client.

Requirements

Fluency in Italian
At least 2 years of tutoring experience
Previous experience working with students, preferably with all ages, especially early childhood
Knowledge of various teaching methods and techniques
Ability to communicate effectively with students, parents, and teachers
Patience, empathy, and the ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet individual student needs

Nice To Haves

Ability to teach or tutor other subjects including other foreign languages, English, social studies and history, mathematics, and science

Responsibilities
