About The Position

The IT UAT Analyst ensures software enhancements and system changes meet business requirements through User Acceptance Testing (UAT), business validation, defect management, and production release support. This role partners with business stakeholders, developers, and vendors to validate solutions, identify issues before deployment, and support successful adoption of new functionality.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business, Computer Science, or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
  • 3–5 years of experience in User Acceptance Testing or Business Systems Analysis.
  • Experience working within Agile development environments.
  • Experience testing enterprise business applications such as Salesforce, CRM, ERP, or HRIS platforms.
  • Experience with Jira or similar tools for test, defect, and issue management.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, written, and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute UAT strategies, test plans, test scripts, and end-to-end scenarios for internally and externally developed solutions.
  • Perform functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing, including test data preparation and validation of defect resolutions.
  • Identify, document, prioritize, and track defects in Jira throughout the development lifecycle, partnering with developers and vendors to resolve issues.
  • Review business requirements with stakeholders to ensure they are complete, testable, and aligned with expected system behavior.
  • Coordinate stakeholder testing, document results, identify gaps and risks, and obtain formal UAT approval prior to deployment.
  • Develop and maintain testing documentation, release materials, user guides, knowledge base articles, and training resources.
  • Monitor testing outcomes, business feedback, and production issues to identify trends and recommend process improvements.

  • The expected California Pay Range for this position: $72,300 - $85,000 USD
