TM serves as an integrator across operating model priorities, ensuring ITS modernization efforts contribute to the World Bank Group’s Evolution Roadmap and are supported by clear outcomes, disciplined execution, and transparent performance reporting. The Transformation Office plays a central role in elevating how ITS delivers value by evolving the IT operating model toward greater clarity of ownership, improved value flow, stronger governance, and measurable performance management. This work requires coordinated progress across nine interdependent operating model components: Performance, Organizational Structure, Ways of Working, Tools/Assets, Places, Talent, Sourcing & Alliances, Decision Rights, and Financials. This role supports transformation progress—ensuring ITS can continuously improve delivery outcomes while strengthening governance, workforce readiness, and enterprise-wide operating model maturity over time. General Description: The IT Transformation Management Analyst supports enterprise IT transformation initiatives aligned with institutional priorities, contributing to digital, cultural, and organizational shifts that strengthen effectiveness and resilience. The role focuses on building transformation capability, supporting stakeholder alignment, and reinforcing Agile and change practices as sustainable enterprise competencies. The position partners across ITS and WBG teams to translate operating model priorities into practical, execution-ready actions, ensuring clarity, readiness, and scalable implementation. The role contributes to: • Strengthening stakeholder engagement and alignment • Building Agile and change capability across ITS and WBG departments • Reinforcing ownership, accountability, and decision clarity • Supporting implementation readiness and execution transparency

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree with 2 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience (for example in IT field: Bachelor’s Degree with min 1 year of related work experience.)
  • Experience supporting IT operating model change, transformation enablement, or organizational change.
  • Experience supporting work across multiple workstreams with dependencies and evolving priorities.
  • Experience using delivery and planning tools (e.g., Azure DevOps or Jira).
  • Skills: Agile tooling, SDLC, DevOps, Digital Transformation Coaching, Principles of Information Technology
  • AI-Enabled Analytics: Comfort using AI tools to analyze data, surface trends, and translate insights into clear, actionable recommendation.

  • Preferred certifications: Digital Business Transformation/Leadership, Design Thinking/Human Centered Design, Prosci Certified Change Practitioner (PCCP), Safe Agilist (SA), Lean Portfolio Management (LPM)

Responsibilities

  • Drive execution of operating model modernization priorities aligned to the Transformation Charter and FY26 direction by proactively shaping workplans, identifying gaps, and moving deliverables forward.
  • Engage teams across ITS and WBG to gather inputs, validate assumptions, and synthesize perspectives into clear recommendations and next steps.
  • Facilitate working sessions that resolve ambiguity, align on ownership, and accelerate decisions needed to progress implementation and new ways of working adoption by WBG impacted groups.
  • Proactively surface risks, dependencies, and decisions required, and push for timely resolution to prevent delivery delays.
  • Translate operating model priorities into clear deliverables, milestones, and actionable work packages that can be executed consistently.
  • Maintain visibility across cross-cutting modernization work and ensure follow-ups are actively driven to closure.
  • Lead structured reviews to strengthen clarity of ownership and accountability across delivery and support structures (e.g., Development Value Streams and related ownership models, where applicable).
  • Identify friction points such as handoffs, unclear boundaries, duplicated responsibilities, and execution bottlenecks, and propose improvements.
  • Support validation and maintenance of operating model inventories and documentation that enable leadership to make informed structural and governance decisions.
  • Influence teams toward consistent standards and practical solutions that reduce organizational complexity and improve execution effectiveness.
  • Drive consistent use of enterprise execution tooling (e.g., Azure DevOps) to strengthen transparency, follow-through, and accountability across operating model priorities.
  • Establish and reinforce structured tracking practices that enable leaders and teams to see progress, risks, dependencies, and delivery commitments clearly.
  • Partner with WBG teams to improve data quality, workflow discipline, and usability of tracking artifacts so reporting is reliable and decision-ready.
  • Contribute to dashboards, reporting views, and summary packs that provide actionable insights—not just status updates.
  • Support governance effectiveness by preparing decision materials, facilitating alignment conversations, and documenting outcomes clearly.
  • Capture decisions, maintain action logs, and ensure commitments are tracked to closure across stakeholders and workstreams.
  • Produce structured, reusable documentation and guidance that supports consistent implementation and reduces reinvention across ITS.
  • Maintain organized repositories and digital assets that enable teams to access the latest standards, templates, and materials.
