For more information on ITS, see this video:https://www.youtube.com/watch?reload=9&v=VTFGffa1Y7w Unit Context: The IT Transformation Management (TM) function enables ITS to deliver measurable business impact by strengthening how strategy, execution, and performance measurement connect across the organization. TM serves as an integrator across operating model priorities, ensuring ITS modernization efforts contribute to the World Bank Group’s Evolution Roadmap and are supported by clear outcomes, disciplined execution, and transparent performance reporting. The Transformation Office plays a central role in elevating how ITS delivers value by evolving the IT operating model toward greater clarity of ownership, improved value flow, stronger governance, and measurable performance management. This work requires coordinated progress across nine interdependent operating model components: Performance, Organizational Structure, Ways of Working, Tools/Assets, Places, Talent, Sourcing & Alliances, Decision Rights, and Financials. This role supports transformation progress—ensuring ITS can continuously improve delivery outcomes while strengthening governance, workforce readiness, and enterprise-wide operating model maturity over time. General Description: This role requires strong analytical capability and comfort working with structured data, KPIs, and reporting tools. The individual should be able to interpret datasets, identify trends and gaps, and support the translation of transformation metrics into clear, actionable insights. The role requires: • Solid quantitative and analytical reasoning skills • Proficiency in digital reporting and dashboard tools (e.g., Power BI or equivalent) • Ability to apply visual clarity principles to dashboards and executive reporting • Strong attention to detail and data integrity • Structured thinking and organized documentation practices • Clear written communication skills for summarizing findings • Ability to work collaboratively across teams and support senior staff in preparing insights The individual should be comfortable operating in a dynamic transformation environment, able to manage evolving priorities, and willing to learn and adapt as operating model components mature.

Requirements

  • Solid quantitative and analytical reasoning skills
  • Proficiency in digital reporting and dashboard tools (e.g., Power BI or equivalent)
  • Ability to apply visual clarity principles to dashboards and executive reporting
  • Strong attention to detail and data integrity
  • Structured thinking and organized documentation practices
  • Clear written communication skills for summarizing findings
  • Ability to work collaboratively across teams and support senior staff in preparing insights
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree with 2 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience (for example in IT field: Bachelor’s Degree with min 1 year of related work experience.)
  • Experience supporting IT operating model change, transformation enablement, or organizational change.
  • Hands-on experience serving as a Scrum Master supporting structured execution and continuous improvement.
  • Experience supporting work across multiple workstreams with dependencies and evolving priorities.
  • Experience using delivery and planning tools (e.g., Azure DevOps or Jira).
  • Skills: Agile tooling, DevOps, Digital Transformation Coaching, Principles of Information Technology
  • AI-Enabled Analytics: Comfort using AI tools to analyze data, surface trends, and translate insights into clear, actionable recommendation.

  • Preferred certifications: Scrum Master (SM), Lean Portfolio Management (LPM), SAFe Product Owner/Product Manager (PO/POPM), Design Thinking/Human Centered Design, Prosci Certified Change Practitioner (PCCP), Safe Agilist (SA)

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the Scrum Master for the transformation team driving the operating model progress team by enabling disciplined execution and continuous improvement.
  • Establish and sustain effective team ceremonies and working agreements (planning, daily coordination, reviews, retrospectives) focused on outcomes and delivery commitments
  • Maintain team execution health by improving clarity, focus, prioritization hygiene, and follow-through
  • Enable transparency of work in progress, priorities, risks, and dependencies using standard tools and routines
  • Proactively surface delivery blockers and drive resolution through active impediment management
  • Support realistic planning by helping the team break down work, define acceptance criteria, and track completion against agreed outcomes
  • Strengthen delivery predictability by promoting stable cadence, clear ownership, and consistent execution practices
  • Support execution of ITS operating model initiatives aligned to the Transformation Charter, Scorecard, and FY26 priorities.
  • Help structure and manage the team’s delivery approach so priorities are translated into clear outcomes, milestones, and actionable work plans.
  • Support the team in maintaining visibility of cross-cutting work across operating model components (e.g., governance, structure, tools, decision rights, talent enablement).
  • Assist in documenting and validating Development Value Streams (DVS) as an execution anchor for ownership clarity, delivery alignment, and governance decisions.
  • Identify, track, and escalate dependencies across workstreams and operating model components.
  • Maintain visibility of risks, decisions required, and unresolved blockers impacting delivery progress.
  • Support alignment across teams contributing to operating model progress by coordinating handoffs, timelines, and follow-ups.
  • Ensure action items, decisions, and commitments are documented and actively managed to closure.
  • Support the team’s contribution to operating model progress reporting by tracking completion of outcomes, milestones, and agreed indicators.
  • Assist in preparing summaries and inputs that reflect progress, issues, and next steps for leadership discussions.
  • Help ensure reporting is clear, consistent, and evidence-based, including what has been delivered, what is at risk, and what decisions/support are needed.
