About The Position

The IT Trainer supports USSOCOM under the SITEC III Enterprise Operations & Maintenance (EOM) contract by delivering hands-on training to government personnel on enterprise IT systems, processes, and tools within the SOCOM/SITEC environment. This role ensures users are fully equipped to operate, manage, and support mission-critical IT services.

Requirements

  • Active TS/SCI clearance
  • CompTIA Security+ or equivalent certification
  • Experience delivering IT training in enterprise or DoD environments.
  • Knowledge of IT systems, help desk operations, and user support processes.
  • Strong communication and instructional skills with the ability to simplify technical concepts.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience supporting SOCOM, SITEC, or similar DoD IT programs.
  • Familiarity with Remedy, Active Directory, mobility/device management, and enterprise IT environments.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., Security+, Network+, ITIL).

Responsibilities

  • Provide instructor-led, virtual, and hands-on training to government personnel on SOCOM IT systems and processes.
  • Deliver core courses including: Remedy (ticketing and workflow management), IMO / 25B Training (desktop support, account management, system access), TCO Training (mobility, phone provisioning, device management, and secure access tools).
  • Conduct both user-level and administrator-level training to support operational requirements.
  • Develop, update, and maintain training materials, SOPs, and user guides aligned with SOCOM policies and system updates.
  • Continuously improve training based on feedback, system changes, and mission needs.
  • Maintain and update the SharePoint IT Training portal.
  • Provide training support for emerging technologies and tools (e.g., GitLab, CI/CD pipelines, VDI environments) when required.
  • Assist with development of technical documentation, system build guides, and training materials for new capabilities (e.g., VDI, thin clients, TTC-R).
  • Support pilot efforts and new system rollouts by documenting processes and delivering targeted training sessions.
  • Manage certification processes required for elevated system access (e.g., IMO/TCO roles).
  • Track course completion and maintain certification records in coordination with government stakeholders.
  • Provide remedial training and ongoing user support as needed.
