About The Position

This position is contingent upon the successful award of a contract. Nisga'a Tek is committed to high-quality service, providing intelligence, IT, cyber security, training, logistics, administrative, acquisition, and background investigation services. The IT Tier 2 Support Technician will serve as an IMO & ISO Representative, monitoring applications, assessing knowledge management needs, coordinating IT requirements, and acting as a liaison for IT equipment repair. The role involves supporting commanders/directors/chiefs in managing IM/IT processes and resources to enable organizational business and mission processes.

Requirements

Associate’s degree from an accredited college or university or 3+ years of experience
IAT Level II (CCNA Security/CSA+/GICSP/GSEC/Security+ CE/SSCP) Cert. & applicable CE/OS Cert. & Windows or Apple Cert. Mac Tech.
Experience providing customer support (tier 1 & tier 2 help-desk support)
Secret Clearance

Responsibilities

Monitors conventional & web applications
Assesses knowledge management needs
Identifies & obtains required resources
Provides oversight, planning coordination w/ Garrison IT requirements
Initiates & forwards Requests for Services to the NEC
Acts as liaison to the NEC for repair of IT equipment
Monitors all common-user C4/IT baseline services
Coordinates backup & archive services
Supports the commander/director/chief for coordination service
Provides advice, planning, & coordination of all IM/IT requirements (business & mission) for their organization
Assists commander/ director/chief in effectively managing the organization’s IM/IT processes & resources that enable the organization’s business & mission processes
Ensures installed IT products are supported by the vendor for security patches to address publicly known security vulnerabilities
