About The Position

SAP America, Inc. seeks an IT Technology Services Senior Specialist at our Newtown Square, PA location to design systems, applications, products and services to optimize / automate business processes and improve work efficiency.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field of study and six (6) years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or related occupation. Alternatively, a Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field of study and four (4) years of experience in the job offered or related occupation.
  • Experience must include four (4) years involving each of the following:
  • SAP S/4HANA migration, upgrade, and conversion projects utilizing AWS, GCP or Azure;
  • Facilitating support in software selection, technical planning, and vendor coordination, while guiding IT and SAP lifecycles with strategic insight;
  • Analyzing and implementing SAP support methodology utilizing SAP S/4HANA;
  • SAP High Availability and Disaster Recovery (HA/DR) architecture involving load balancers and virtual machines;
  • Resolving security risks and outages through root cause analysis;
  • SAP cloud solutions and integration with SCP, Ariba, and SuccessFactors;
  • SAP Solution Manager, SAP Analytics Cloud, and secure authentication protocols including SSO, SPNEGO, and Kerberos;
  • SOLMAN/FRUN, Cloud ALM, SAP Cockpit 2.0, and HDBCON Utility.

Responsibilities

  • Provides expert support in operations.
  • Revises and updates existing programs and provides required documentation.
  • Engage with business stakeholders and other technology teams to deliver solutions to business requirements.
  • Perform complex data and system development along with technology integration through learned technology coding languages.
  • Facilitate the system, service, and product lifecycle, and ensure stable, secure, performant and high available operations for and between system and cloud services.
  • Facilitate agile engagement with the business.
  • Revise and update existing programs and provide required documentation.
  • Manage cloud technologies, the associated architectural styles and web development stacks.
  • Apply agile software delivery process and the industry-standard toolset for DevOps implementation.
  • Apply modern data processing technologies and methods, such as non-SQL databases or data lakes.
  • Apply modern SaaS platform, integration, and extensibility concepts.
