About The Position

SAP America, Inc. seeks an IT Technology Services Senior Consultant at our Newtown Square, PA location to design and develop systems, applications, products, services, and data to optimize/automate SAP business processes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field of study and six (6) years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or related occupation. Alternatively, a Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field of study and four (4) years of experience in the job offered or related occupation.
  • Monitoring Tools including Nagios
  • SUSE and Red Hat administration
  • AWS, GIT, and Kubernetes
  • JOB Scheduling utilizing TIDAL
  • Microsoft Azure
  • HP Unix administration
  • Google Cloud Platform
  • Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA) or Sues Linux Certified
  • AWS Solutions Architect associate (valid or expired)

Responsibilities

  • Support customers across North America region on behalf of Enterprise Clouds Services (ECS) organization.
  • Present the intricacies of the private cloud offering, technical details, and engagement model to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Guide customers on all technical aspects like Business Continuity, Networks, Server Management topics.
  • Assess customer security and network requirements.
  • Support the TSM, CDM, and TechOps teams for execution of service delivery plan and join the escalation meetings.
  • Providing value-added services in customer engagements, focus topics, and continuous improvement initiatives to improve the ECS service experience for the customer.
  • Engage delivery organizations when the standard operating procedure is not sufficient to provide timely resolution of issues.
  • As part of RDE team, run various initiatives and work on region focus topics to avoid escalation and safeguard top critical customers for the region.
  • Support SM L2 and LLD teams for all the unresolved issues.
  • Provide consultation to standardize the customer landscape as per ECS requirements.
  • Prepare Go to green plan for the RED customer and implement the same.
