This involves building a strong, dependable IT foundation to keep employees productive, connected, and supported, from onboarding new hires to maintaining day-to-day systems. The IT Technician will support day-to-day technology operations and ensure a smooth experience for employees. This critical role involves handling IT support needs, including onboarding new hires, provisioning equipment, and troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues. The IT Technician will serve as a key point of contact for internal IT support, manage tickets/requests, maintain systems, and coordinate logistics related to devices and office technology. This position is ideal for someone early in their IT career who is eager to learn within a dynamic environment, partnering with the current IT lead to take ownership of core IT functions and play an important part in scaling the IT function.

Requirements

  • 1–3 years of experience in IT Support / Help Desk
  • MacOS support experience
  • Basic networking knowledge (VPN, Wi-Fi troubleshooting)
  • IT Certification (CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+ or similar)
  • Experience working with a ticketing system
  • Inventory Systems (Snipe-IT or similar)

Nice To Haves

  • Basic shell scripting experience (bash or similar)
  • Exposure to endpoint/security tools (e.g., SentinelOne, NinjaOne)
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • Experience making MacOS Configuration Profiles

Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day IT support (hardware, software, and network issues)
  • Manage employee onboarding/offboarding (laptops, accounts, access)
  • Troubleshoot MacOS devices, connectivity issues, and VPN access
  • Support Wi-Fi and network troubleshooting across the office
  • Administer user accounts and systems (Google Workspace - SAML, autoprovisioning)
  • Coordinate IT logistics (device inventory, provisioning, office setup)
  • Maintain documentation and improve IT processes where possible
  • Partner cross-functionally to ensure smooth IT operations
