About The Position

The IT Technician maintains knowledge of current and emerging IT and telecommunications technologies while assisting customers. Technologies include optical transport networks, software-defined networks, wireless, mobility, satellite, Ethernet, unified communications, IP and enterprise network infrastructures, and cloud-based services. The role develops new programs and contracts and updates existing ones to ensure current technologies and services are available to customers. The ideal candidate has experience developing, implementing, and supporting hardware, software, and network systems.

Requirements

Experience in behavioral health and substance use disorder settings.
Familiarity with Suboxone and Vivitrol medications.
Extensive knowledge of various operating systems, hardware, software, and programming languages.
Excellent problem-solving skills.
Excellent attention to detail.
Exceptional troubleshooting abilities.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, computer engineering, or a related field.
5 or more years of related experience.

Nice To Haves

A master’s degree is a plus.

Responsibilities

Implement security measures.
Monitor security certificates and company compliance with requirements.
Provide technical support to company staff and troubleshoot computer problems.
Install and update software and hardware as needed.
Prepare project status reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information.
Meet with prospective clients to determine needed resources and requirements.
Define hardware, software, and network requirements.
Maintain networks.
Perform database administration.
Identify and resolve project issues.
Review diagnostics and assess system functionality and efficiency.
Support experience with EMR integration, VoIP, STMP file extensions, Single Sign On, EHR extensions, and mobile apps.
