Pluss software, a part of the Fullsteam organization, specializes in providing shop management software with embedded payments processing for Heavy Duty Truck and Automotive Repair, including inventory management and whole shop accounting. The company is seeking an experienced IT Technician to join the Pluss Software LLC’s IT Support team. In this role, the IT Technician will be responsible for the installation, troubleshooting, and support of both software and hardware solutions. Key duties include managing internal resources and customer systems, responding daily to diverse customer problems and requests, and finding appropriate solutions to meet their needs.

Requirements

  • Extensive experience with modern Microsoft operating systems (Windows 10+, Windows Server 2016+)
  • Experience as an IT Technician or related work experience
  • Experience with building, configuring, and troubleshooting PC computer hardware
  • Strong diagnostic, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication skills
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Good knowledge of internet security and data privacy principles
  • Good working knowledge of modern networking, TCP/IP communication, routing and internet communications

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with payment processing hardware and software
  • Experience with Point-of-Sale systems
  • Experiencing servicing and supporting business software installations
  • Experience with modern cloud computing services (Microsoft Azure, Amazon AWS)
  • Experience with help-desk software solutions and VOIP systems
  • AA Computer Science or Equivalent Experience
  • Certifications A+ / Net +

Responsibilities

  • Install and troubleshoot Pluss Software LLC’s software solutions
  • Setup and deploy hardware solutions to customers
  • Remote management, maintenance, and updates of deployed hardware and software solutions
  • Setup, maintain, and troubleshoot customer printing configurations
  • Troubleshoot common network solutions
  • Setup and service payment processing solutions
