About The Position
The City of Woodstock is pleased to be recruiting for a limited part-time technical position with the Information Technology Department. This position is responsible to assist the Information Technology Department with providing support to the end users by troubleshooting and correcting hardware, software, and network connectivity problems; installing PC's and peripherals; and configuring other electronic devices. The work is performed under the supervision of the Information Technology Director.
Requirements
- High School diploma/equivalent with previous experience working with computer hardware and software installations
- Must be familiar with Windows 11 operating systems
Nice To Haves
- Basic understanding of networks and client/server communications
Responsibilities
- Assist the Information Technology Department with providing support to the end users by troubleshooting and correcting hardware, software, and network connectivity problems
- Install PCs and peripherals
- Configure other electronic devices
Benefits
- Accrued Sick Leave - earn 1 hour for every 40 hours worked on a prorated basis and available for use after 100 calendar days of employment
