About The Position

Join The Oregon Clinic as a full-time IT Technician in our Central Administration Office. This role is crucial in ensuring proper computer operation for end users, documenting, prioritizing, troubleshooting, and resolving help requests. Problem resolution may involve using diagnostic tools, communication via various channels, and escalating issues to technical resources. Responsibilities also include computer maintenance, troubleshooting printer issues, administration tasks, managing IT asset inventory, submitting ServiceNow tickets, and managing Epic accounts. Requirements

  • Minimum one (1) year of relevant experience or schooling is required.
  • Experience with common computer hardware, Microsoft Office suite or similar business applications, Mac OSX, recent versions of Microsoft Windows and Terminal Services.
  • Reliable transportation and willingness to commute throughout the Portland Metro area are required.
  • Skill in technical problem analysis and troubleshooting.
  • Excellent attendance and work ethic.
  • Positive attitude and desire to be a team player.
  • Ability to communicate professionally and effectively with patients, physicians and other team members.
  • A commitment to patient-focused care, privacy, and safety.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior IT experience in the medical industry is a plus!

Responsibilities

  • Ensuring proper computer operation for end users.
  • Documenting, prioritizing, troubleshooting, and resolving help requests.
  • Using diagnostic and help request tracking tools, communication using telephone, email, Instant Messaging, remote control, and personal interaction for problem resolution.
  • Formally escalating issues to other technical resources.
  • Performing computer maintenance, troubleshooting printer issues, and administration tasks as assigned.
  • Managing IT asset inventory, including ensuring decommissioned equipment is removed.
  • Submitting Epic ServiceNow tickets to maintain and manage proper workstation functionality.
  • Managing Epic accounts, including creating new roles and granting EPIC system access.
  • Processing and coordinating day-to-day telecommunication activities for adds, moves, and changes to telephone, agents, voicemail, and emergency systems.
  • Other duties as assigned.
