About The Position

Soaring Towers is seeking a Remote IT Technician Level 2 to join our innovative team. This flexible, client-facing role offers opportunities for growth, learning, and variety. Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of previous experience in a tech-related role (e.g., IT Support, Software Developer, Systems Analyst).
  • Fluent in English (C1 level), with excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Proven experience in an administrative, marketing, or client support role.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Comfort with technology and a willingness to learn basic troubleshooting.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and stay organized in a dynamic environment.
  • Reliable internet connection and a quiet workspace for virtual meetings.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience writing blog posts and managing social media accounts is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and resolve complex desktop, server, network, and application issues.
  • Take ownership of tickets from intake through resolution, ensuring timely updates and clear documentation.
  • Provide professional remote support for end users with minimal disruption to business operations.
  • Manage and support Windows & Mac environments including Microsoft 365, RMM, and security management tools.
  • Troubleshoot LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, VPN, DNS, DHCP, and printer-related issues.
  • Respond to security alerts, phishing incidents, and endpoint threats following established procedures.
  • Identify recurring issues and implement permanent fixes to reduce repeat tickets.
  • Collaborate with senior engineers when issues exceed scope, providing thorough diagnostics and context.
  • Follow and improve internal SOPs, documentation standards, and client-specific procedures.
  • Clearly explain issues, resolutions, and preventative steps in non-technical language.
  • Support and guide Level 1 technicians through troubleshooting and best practices.
  • Use RMM, PSA, documentation platforms, and monitoring tools effectively and consistently.
  • Assist with system changes, upgrades, and maintenance while minimizing risk and downtime.
  • Ensure all work meets technical standards, security requirements, and client expectations.
  • Stay current on technologies, tools, and threats relevant to managed IT environments.
