About The Position

Provide technical leadership for a federal portfolio that includes multiple web, data, and integration solutions built on Microsoft and cloud technologies. Define and guide CI/CD pipelines using tools such as GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or comparable platforms to automate build, test, and deployment of application and infrastructure changes. Work with engineers to integrate security and quality checks into pipelines, including static analysis, dependency scanning, and basic dynamic testing using industry-standard tools. Shape technical approaches for application modernization and integration, including API-based interfaces, data services, and cloud-hosted components (for example in Azure or AWS). Provide technical direction on environment strategy (dev/test/stage/prod), configuration management, and automated deployment patterns. Collaborate with program leadership to evaluate solution options, estimate technical effort, and communicate trade-offs in terms that business and mission stakeholders can understand. Ensure solutions are designed and implemented to meet security, privacy, accessibility, and operational expectations common to federal programs.
