About The Position

NeighborImpact is seeking an IT Systems Support Specialist B to provide help desk support to agency staff across Central Oregon. This on-site role involves assisting with technology and devices, setting up new equipment, supporting A/V needs for meetings and events, and managing IT assets. The position offers an opportunity to build IT experience under the guidance of a Lead IT Systems Support Specialist A.

Requirements

  • High school diploma/GED required.
  • One or more years of demonstrated experience in an IT support or related role required; entry-level candidates with relevant certifications or coursework will be considered.
  • This position requires regular travel throughout Central Oregon.
  • Employees must have access to reliable personal transportation capable of transporting equipment as needed (mileage reimbursement for qualifying work travel available).
  • Valid driver’s license required prior to date of hire and throughout employment.
  • Proof of current auto insurance required prior to date of hire and throughout employment.
  • Access to reliable transportation required prior to date of hire and throughout employment.
  • Enrollment in the Central Background Registry (CBR) required prior to date of hire and throughout employment.
  • Satisfactory criminal background check required prior to date of hire and throughout employment.
  • Satisfactory motor vehicle records check required prior to date of hire and throughout employment.
  • Above certifications and enrollments must be kept current to remain employed.

Nice To Haves

  • Associate’s degree in information systems or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the first point of contact for help desk support.
  • Assist agency staff with technology and devices including desktops, laptops, tablets, mobile devices, and peripherals.
  • Set up new equipment for staff and prepare devices for departing staff.
  • Support meetings, trainings, and special events with on-site A/V setup.
  • Track IT assets and manage inventory.
  • Perform other administrative tasks as needed.
