About The Position

SEEM Collaborative is seeking a IT Systems Support Analyst ( ISSA ) to join its current SEEM technology team. The ISSA role provides technology support services in a dynamic collaborative K-12 school environment. Core responsibilities will be to provide technical support via a helpdesk trouble ticket system, troubleshooting hardware/software issues for end-users while also contributing to the research, analysis and implementation of new technology systems to enhance efficiency. The ISSA will be responsible for tracking of vendor warrantees, asset and inventory management, maintaining network security. The ISSA will also provide new technology user training and documentation, as needed, to our K-12 faculty and administrative staff.

Requirements

  • BA/BS degree preferred in Information Systems, Technical Studies, Data Analytics, or a related field.
  • 1+ years of IT support experience in a public school environment or equivalent role preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to set priorities, multitask, and manage a dynamic workload in a fast-changing environment and work proactively and independently.
  • High attention to detail and a methodical approach to problem-solving.
  • Strong commitment to customer service–focused culture with the ability to effectively interact with employees at all levels and collaborate with educators, faculty, and administrative staff to identify and resolve technical issues efficiently.
  • Ability to analyze, streamline, and improve processes to reduce waste and enhance operational efficiency.
  • Flexibility to work beyond regular school or business hours as needed.
  • Quick learner with the ability to understand new technical concepts, support new products and technologies, and assess their impact on business and information systems.
  • Experience working in a networking environment of Windows Servers, Apple iOS/MacOS, Google ChromeOS, Chrome Apps and Extensions, Android-OS, Aruba Central, AVG Cloud, Apple School Manager, Mosyle MDM, Deledao web-filtering, Sonicwall, Viewsonic Viewboards, MFP copiers, desktops, laptops, chromebooks, ipads and smartphone devices.
  • W orking knowledge of Google Admin Console, Google Workspace (Drive, Docs, Sheets, Slides), Win10/11, Microsoft Office (Word/Excel), Office 365, Microsoft Teams, and Zoom.
  • Must be physically able to perform the essential functions of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Must be able to lift, carry, push, and pull materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Must be able to climb ladders up to 15 feet.
  • Employment is contingent upon passing a SAFIS fingerprint and CORI screening

Nice To Haves

  • Strong business acumen preferred.
  • Experience with Active Directory, Group Policy, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, Acronis True Image, Adobe Creative Cloud, Smartboard, ksh, Powershell and Edlio web preferred
  • Familiarity with TalentEd, SchoolBrains SIS, Harpers, eRate, Mitel phone system preferred

Responsibilities

  • Create, maintain, and deactivate employee accounts in coordination with HR.
  • Troubleshoot hardware and software issues; perform diagnostics and resolve technical problems.
  • Monitor, assign, and resolve daily helpdesk tickets while ensuring timely and effective support.
  • Manage IT assets, including hardware inventory tracking and software license management.
  • Oversee vendor warranty coordination and service requests.
  • Support network maintenance and security operations for LAN/WAN environments.
  • Provide user training, develop documentation, and assist with onboarding of new technologies.
  • Administer and support cloud-based (SaaS) applications and services.
  • Research and evaluate new technologies, tools, and systems to improve IT operations.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for end-user technical support via phone, email, or in person.
  • Analyze and diagnose complex issues involving hardware failures, software errors, and network connectivity.
  • Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, servers, operating systems, and applications.
  • Assist with desktop deployments, mobile device procurement, account audits, implementations, and deactivations.
  • Support facilities management projects that impact technology infrastructure.
  • Assist HR and Accounting by researching data discrepancies and resolving related issues.
  • Conduct periodic walkthroughs to ensure compliance with device lifecycle, recycling, and security procedures.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the IT Director or Executive Director.
