Our IT Systems Analyst is responsible for developing strategies for design, development, testing, implementation, backup and disaster recovery, and production usage for both hardware and software application platforms for DEQ mission-critical applications. This position is based in Helena, Montana and follows a hybrid schedule. Employees are expected to work in the Helena office multiple days each week to collaborate with their team and support agency systems. This is not a fully remote position. In this role, you'll: Craft the future of environmental technology Design, develop, and implement mission-critical software and hardware applications. Leverage your skills in a combination of the following areas: SQL queries and data reporting, Python, .NET, REST APIs, ServiceNow (AppEngine, Forms & Reports), Web Development (HTML, CSS, Javascript), UI/UX, and Moodle Administration, Oracle database administration, and GitLab. Become a security champion Ensure application and database security standards are upheld and implemented. Deliver solutions that matter Create software solutions for diverse needs across end-user, mid-tier, and web-based systems.
