About The Position

SAIC is seeking a highly motivated, self-directed IT Systems Integrator to assist the Task Order Manager with managing and executing customer task orders efficiently and effectively. The role combines technical and project management skills and requires independent work, proactive problem-solving, stakeholder collaboration, and clear communication. The position helps ensure projects are completed successfully and customer needs are met. The IT Systems Integrator analyzes customer tasking, assesses requirements, plans and executes tasks, identifies and addresses risks, and collaborates with subject matter experts in information technology, networking, and satellite communications. The position documents and communicates recommendations, solutions, task outcomes, progress, challenges, and milestones to customers and the Task Order Manager. It also involves managing deadlines, resources, and competing priorities.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in a technical field and at least 5 years of technical experience; 4 years of experience may be accepted in lieu of a degree.
Active Top Secret or Department of Energy Q clearance with SCI eligibility; must be eligible for SCI indoctrination within the first 3 months of the start date and able to obtain and maintain TS/SCI.
CompTIA Security+ or equivalent certification required for DoD 8570 Information Assurance Technical (IAT) Level 2 compliance.
Ability to obtain environment certification within 6 months of starting.
At least 2 years of experience in information technology roles, such as help desk, system administrator, hardware specialist, or network administrator.
Understanding of information technology principles, particularly networking concepts such as routing, switching, firewalls, or connectivity.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize under tight deadlines.
Demonstrated ability to collaborate with subject matter experts and stakeholders from varied disciplines.

Nice To Haves

Basic understanding of satellite communications, such as links, bandwidth, and latencies.
PMP, ITIL, or other relevant project management certification.
Familiarity with government contracting environments, particularly task orders within larger programs.
Experience with Jira, Microsoft Teams, or other project or task management platforms.

Responsibilities

Independently complete assigned tasks with minimal oversight, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery.
Analyze new customer tasking, assess requirements, and develop plans to address them.
Support other tasks and activities as needed and requested.
Identify gaps, risks, and potential challenges in task execution and proactively resolve them.
Collaborate with subject matter experts in information technology, networking, and satellite communications to diagnose issues and develop solutions.
Summarize and present proposed solutions to customers, ensuring alignment with their goals.
Provide the Task Order Manager with regular updates on task progress, challenges, milestones, and outcomes.
Document and communicate recommendations, solutions, and task outcomes.
Apply knowledge of information technology, networking, and satellite communications to technical tasks.
Use a project management approach to plan and execute tasks.
Manage deadlines, resources, and competing priorities.
