About The Position

The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the team's effort to develop business process re-engineering recommendations based on current acquisitions processes and information flows to and from the intelligence community. This role involves meeting with the management team to assess and define system requirements, analyzing network data and infrastructure to identify inefficiencies and problems, and developing and designing network architecture and computer systems infrastructure. The position also includes overseeing the development, installation, configuration, and administration of computer systems, managing project timelines, budgets, and documentation, and monitoring computer systems and networks for threats and malfunctions. The candidate will troubleshoot technical issues, prepare network analytics and data reports, and utilize government-provided Generative AI tools daily to accelerate tasks, research, documentation, analysis, planning, reporting, and problem-solving. Additionally, the role requires making recommendations for process improvements and training the engineering team on new systems, protocols, and best practices.

Requirements

  • Minimum of five (5) years work-related experience.
  • Of those 5 years, at least four (4) years of work-related experience supporting a component of the Department of War (DoW)-aligned environment.
  • Experience as a Systems Engineer.
  • Security+ or DAWIA equivalent certification.
  • Graduate of an ABET-accredited systems engineering program.
  • Joint Staff experience.
  • TS/SCI Clearance

  • Knowledgeable and skilled in applying Generative AI.
  • Experience in IT systems integration.
  • Experience in Database integration techniques.
  • Experience in Data visualization.
  • Systems engineering tools (Sparx EA, Cameo, Core, etc).
  • Enterprise architecture development.
  • Knowledge of JCIDS, PPBE, and DAS.
  • Process mapping, e.g. BPMN or other.
  • Modeling and simulation.

Responsibilities

  • Make recommendations on process improvements and practices that improve quality, speed and/or efficiency.
  • Train the engineering team on new systems, protocols, and best practices.
