About The Position

Dave is seeking an IT Systems Engineer II, Enterprise AI & Automations to help scale how work gets done through automation and applied AI. This role is at the intersection of IT, systems, and applied AI, focusing on reducing manual work and improving information flow across the company. The engineer will help build and scale systems that make internal tools more connected and efficient, including automating repetitive workflows, supporting AI-powered tools, and improving system integrations. This role involves partnering with senior engineers and cross-functional teams to turn ideas into practical solutions and contributing to the evolution of automation and AI within the company.

Requirements

  • 2–5 years of experience in IT systems, automation, or a related technical role
  • Experience building or maintaining automations and integrations across SaaS tools
  • Familiarity with automation platforms (e.g., Zapier, Workato, n8n) or scripting-based workflows
  • Working knowledge of scripting or programming (e.g., Python, JavaScript)
  • Experience supporting core systems such as identity providers, collaboration tools, or device management
  • Understanding of APIs and basic authentication methods (OAuth, SAML)

Nice To Haves

  • Exposure to AI tools or interest in building AI-powered workflows
  • Experience working with tools like Google Workspace, Slack, Okta, Jira, or similar platforms
  • Familiarity with event-driven workflows or orchestration tools

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain automated workflows that reduce manual IT and operational work
  • Support integrations between core systems to improve data flow and reliability
  • Help operationalize AI tools (e.g., copilots, internal agents) by connecting them to real workflows
  • Identify opportunities for automation within existing processes and contribute to solution design and implementation
  • Support identity, access, and provisioning workflows through automation and system improvements
  • Contribute to documentation, playbooks, and reusable solutions that help teams adopt automation more effectively
  • Ensure automations are built with appropriate governance, monitoring, and error handling to support reliability at scale
  • Help structure and expose system data in ways that make it usable for automation and AI-driven workflows
