About The Position

This role is aligned to the Epic Cupid team, with a primary focus on supporting cardiovascular workflows across cardiology and cath lab environments. Key areas of responsibility include procedure documentation, hemodynamic monitoring integrations, cardiovascular imaging workflows, and structured reporting. The IT Systems Analyst will support system build, testing, optimization, and issue resolution within Cupid, ensuring accurate clinical documentation, seamless device integration, and efficient workflow support for invasive and non-invasive cardiology services. The IT Systems Analyst is responsible for designing, testing, implementing, and troubleshooting IT applications and for ensuring the availability, stability, and reliability of those applications. They monitor system performance, identify, and resolve technical issues, and ensure efficient operation of all clinical systems. The analyst also provides technical support to end-users and collaborates with other IT teams to resolve complex technical problems related to clinical systems.

Requirements

  • 2 years of experience in healthcare clinical workflows and/or IT support, including experience with nursing, provider, or ancillary department technologies OR Associate degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Healthcare Administration, a related field (for IT Systems Analyst I).
  • 4 years of experience in healthcare clinical workflows and/or IT support, including experience with nursing, provider, or ancillary department technologies OR Associate degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Healthcare Administration, a related field (for IT Systems Analyst II).
  • Basic understanding of healthcare operations and clinical workflows.
  • Basic knowledge of inter-related solutions and IT systems knowledge with the aligned application domain.
  • Develops and maintains knowledge of related IT systems as well as supporting business and IT domains.
  • Basic analytical and problem-solving skills; attention to detail.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work as part of a team.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to the healthcare environment.
  • Strong knowledge of inter-related solutions and IT systems knowledge with the aligned application domain (for IT Systems Analyst II).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with department resources (for IT Systems Analyst II).
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team (for IT Systems Analyst II).
  • Strong understanding of operational workflows (for IT Systems Analyst II).
  • Strong documentation skills (for IT Systems Analyst II).
  • Ability to lead small to medium size initiatives related to clinical systems improvements (for IT Systems Analyst II).

Nice To Haves

  • Associate degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Healthcare Administration, a related field, or equivalent experience (preferred for both IT Systems Analyst I and II).
