We’re seeking a hands-on, solution-driven IT Systems Administrator to manage and optimize our enterprise technology environment. Requirements

  • 5+ years in IT infrastructure or systems administration
  • Windows Server (AD, DNS, DHCP, GPO)
  • Cisco Meraki (firewalls, switches, WAPs)
  • VMware (virtual machines & resource optimization)
  • PowerShell scripting (automation & provisioning)
  • Network security (firewall rules, VPNs, endpoint protection)
  • Backup/Recovery (Veeam or equivalent tools)
  • Azure/M365 (hybrid environments, identity sync)
  • Monitoring tools (PRTG, Meraki Alerts, Veeam One)
  • Analytical, methodical problem-solver
  • Strong communicator across technical and non-technical teams
  • Detail-oriented and highly accountable
  • Adaptable and committed to learning
  • Collaborative with a customer-service mindset

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s in Information Technology or related field
  • Microsoft Azure Administrator Associate certification
  • Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate certification
  • Azure Security Engineer Associate certification
  • VMware Certified Professional certification
  • Cisco Meraki Solutions Specialist certification
  • Construction industry IT experience

Responsibilities

  • Deploy and manage Windows Servers (virtual & physical)
  • Set up and configure hardware, storage, and peripherals
  • Support jobsite office tech deployments
  • Perform regular system maintenance, patching, and updates
  • Monitor performance, conduct failure analysis, and tune resources
  • Build software installation packages (via Microsoft Configuration Manager)
  • Manage Active Directory & Entra ID (user provisioning, group policies)
  • Administer SaaS platform accounts and enforce MFA & security protocols
  • Administer SharePoint Online (site setup, training, issue resolution)
  • Support software adoption, integrations, and troubleshooting
  • Ensure NIST compliance and implement best practices
  • Support secure LANs/WANs, firewalls, VPNs, and endpoint protections
  • Manage and monitor enterprise backup systems to ensure data protection and recovery.
  • Perform daily backup validation and disaster recovery testing.
  • Maintain documentation and procedures for recovery scenarios and business continuity.
  • Provide Tier II/III support for complex issues
  • Participate in on-call rotations and after-hours maintenance
  • Maintain accurate records of configurations and procedures
  • Identify automation opportunities and system enhancements
  • Help shape system standards and long-term infrastructure strategy
