ProMach’s Zalkin and Federal divisions seek a skilled IT Systems Administrator to maintain stable, secure, and high-performing IT environments. This role provides direct support to end users both onsite and remotely and requires strong hands-on technical expertise. This role reports to Business Unit IT leadership. You will manage daily IT operations and execute against defined standards. Business Unit IT leadership will guide all strategic decisions and major system changes.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of hands-on IT Systems Administration experience
  • Strong experience with Windows Server, Hyper-V, and Active Directory
  • Solid understanding of networking fundamentals (DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, switching, routing)
  • Experience with patch management tools such as N-able or similar
  • Experience supporting multi-site environments (onsite and remote)
  • Ability to manage daily IT operations independently
  • Strong troubleshooting, organization, and prioritization skills
  • Clear communication skills and a customer service mindset
  • Ability to follow established IT standards and escalate when needed

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Exposure to Syteline ERP
  • Experience with SharePoint and Access databases
  • Familiarity with backup tools such as Barracuda or Veeam

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and support Windows Server environments (2016–2025) and Hyper-V infrastructure
  • Provide end user support for desktops, laptops, mobile devices, printers, and business applications
  • Perform system patching and updates using N-able or similar tools
  • Monitor system performance, uptime, and overall environment health
  • Support network infrastructure including switches, routers, firewalls, and wireless systems
  • Provide onsite support in Statham and remote support for an out-of-state location
  • Serve as an escalation point for complex technical issues and manage ticket flow
  • Administer Active Directory including user provisioning, deactivation, and access management
  • Support Syteline ERP, Access databases, and SharePoint environments
  • Maintain backup and recovery processes and follow corporate cybersecurity standards
  • Manage IT assets including hardware inventory, software licensing, and lifecycle tracking
  • Create and maintain documentation, including SOPs and onboarding/offboarding processes
  • Partner with vendors and support projects as assigned
  • Execute all work in alignment with established IT standards
