About The Position

The Systems Administrator provides senior-level technical support for all IT systems. Raymond West is committed to providing our customers with end-to-end warehouse solutions. Requirements

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent Organizational Time Management skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft office Suite and similar software
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of an organization
  • Must be able to maintain effective working relationships with employees, Co-workers, and Managers in other departments
  • Must be willing to work off-hours as specific needs dictate and willing to assume more responsibility as required
  • Possess superior typing ability. Accuracy is essential.
  • Present a clean, neat appearance, mature and responsible.
  • Maintain an organized and tidy work area.
  • Maintain a professional attitude in all matters.
  • Willing and able to learn quickly and perform accurately and neatly with a degree of flexibility.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for overall health of the corporate network and its related systems.
  • Administer and maintain endpoint management software.
  • Responsible for reviewing and applying all system and security updates to all computing and network devices.
  • Track and report software/network licensing needs to IT Supervisor and Director of IT.
  • Monitor network/server health and remediate, as necessary.
  • Maintain system information in various logs and spreadsheets.
  • Maintain system images for deployment of new systems.
  • Load and update software applications as required.
  • Manage network storage and backups.
  • Manage network devices.
  • Maintain and audit security of shared network resources.
