About The Position

A dynamic and growing business services company in El Paso is seeking a highly skilled and proactive IT System Administrator to manage its technology infrastructure. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical expertise, especially in Office 365 and Windows OS, and thrive in a fast-paced setting where they may support strategic IT initiatives and executive-level users.

Requirements

  • Must have a minimum of five (5) years’ experience supporting Windows Operating Systems, especially Windows 10 and 11.
  • Must have extensive expertise in Microsoft Office 365 (Outlook, Teams, Excel, Word, PowerPoint) & deep familiarity with Windows OS (10 & 11).
  • Experience in hybrid environments (on-prem/cloud) with a focus on Azure.
  • Strong working knowledge of VMware virtualization platforms.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining high service levels.
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 40 pounds.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or related field preferred.
  • Experience providing IT support to executive-level users highly preferred.
  • Must have Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and administer Active Directory and user account access.
  • Provide expert-level support for Microsoft Office 365, including Outlook, Teams, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Manage and monitor Windows 10 and 11 environments, ensuring reliability and compliance.
  • Support hybrid infrastructure with a focus on Azure cloud and VMware virtualization.
  • Assist with upcoming IT projects, including a company-wide PC refresh and RingCentral phone system implementation.
  • Implement system enhancements and upgrades to improve network performance and security.
  • Administer backups, recovery processes, and virus protection protocols.
  • Maintain system documentation and support ticket tracking.
  • Evaluate new product releases for compatibility with existing systems.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and vendors for issue resolution and IT strategy.
  • Ensure compliance with internal IT policies and security protocols.
  • Provide high-touch support to company executives with professionalism and discretion.
  • Participate in after-hours and weekend support as necessary.
