About The Position

The Information Technology Systems Administrator provides support to the Bank’s IT infrastructure, enterprise applications, and customer-facing products to ensure operating efficiency and security. Works within the IT Team to ensure efficient and accurate processing and recordkeeping according to established policies and procedures within the regulatory guidelines governing network systems, products, and services. Performs a variety of technical banking operations services and other administrative duties in conjunction with the Bank’s established policies and procedures with a focus on customer service. The Information Technology Systems Administrator will actively participate in meetings, project teams, and internal committees as assigned.

Requirements

  • Associates degree or higher in Technology-related field strongly preferred, or equivalent experience required.
  • Six years of IT experience with a track record of increasing responsibility.
  • Exceptional troubleshooting, problem solving, and critical thinking skills.
  • Understanding of common network protocols (DHCP, DNS, TCP/IP, VLANs, VPNs, Wi-Fi).
  • Experience with Windows-based servers and associated roles (Active Directory, File, Application, SFTP).
  • Working knowledge of scripting (Batch, PowerShell, Python) and automation methodologies and tools (Microsoft Power Automate, Task Scheduler).
  • Experience with administration of Microsoft 365 suite of applications (Azure, Exchange, Intune, OneDrive Purview, SharePoint, Teams).
  • Exceptional communication and relationship building skills (email, in-person, over collaboration tools).
  • Documentation skills (data flow diagrams, incident reports, IT related policies, system configurations, troubleshooting guides).
  • Understanding of business continuity and disaster recovery practices.
  • Knowledgeable of cybersecurity and system hardening best practices.
  • Ability and willingness to learn new skills based on the Bank’s technological needs.
  • Acute attention to detail and ability to manage priorities.
  • Maintain confidentiality of Bank records and customer transactions.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with designing, deploying, training, and fine-tuning Microsoft Copilot chatbots is a plus.
  • Experience with system integration technologies, such as APIs, Middleware, and ODBC are a plus.
  • Working knowledge of IT in the financial services industry, including banking regulations, and compliance requirements related to IT are a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Works closely with the IT Director to execute technology-based initiatives set forth in the Bank’s IT Strategic Plan.
  • Partners with the Bank’s Managed Service Provider (MSP), core processor, and other third-party vendors to develop, implement, and maintain the Bank’s IT infrastructure, enterprise applications, and customer-facing products.
  • Serves as an IT resource on Bank projects.
  • Assists management with vendor relationships and serves as an operational point of contact to vendors regarding issues and projects.
  • Advise the IT Director on all technology concerns or issues.
  • Provide guidance and support to staff on IT issues and related services.
  • Communicate application problems, updates and procedure changes to managers and department heads, as appropriate.
  • In conjunction with the IT Director, ensure that infrastructure, enterprise applications, and customer-facing products are within the guidelines of the emergency preparedness and business continuity programs.
  • Provide technical support related to upgrades and releases related to IT infrastructure, enterprise applications, and customer-facing products
  • Creates and edits IT related documentation.
  • Participates in Bank audits and examinations as needed.
  • Maintain a positive and productive working relationship with Bank management and staff.
  • Adheres to Bank policies and procedures required by federal and state statutes, laws and regulatory rules.
