About The Position

This position is responsible for the administration, maintenance, and support of the City's endpoint security systems. The IT Systems Administrator - Endpoint Security will play a crucial role in protecting the City's network and data from cyber threats by managing and optimizing endpoint security solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Proven experience as an IT Systems Administrator or in a similar role with a focus on endpoint security.
• In-depth knowledge of endpoint security solutions (e.g., antivirus, EDR, HIPS, DLP).
• Experience with network security principles and best practices.
• Familiarity with security frameworks and compliance standards.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Nice To Haves

• Relevant security certifications (e.g., CompTIA Security+, CISSP, GIAC).
• Experience with scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Python).
• Experience with cloud security solutions.
• Experience in a government or municipal IT environment.
