About The Position

Hankook Tire & Technology is seeking an IT System Associate to design, build, and maintain web applications in support of the organization’s web strategy. This role involves supporting the design, development, and implementation of web technologies, developing and maintaining web applications using various programming languages, frameworks, and tools, and performing technical tasks including analysis, design, coding, debugging, and implementation. The associate will collaborate with customers, vendors, and other departments to coordinate projects and identify improvement opportunities, maintain records, and prepare reports. The position is located at the North American Headquarters in downtown Nashville, TN, offering an in-person, Monday-Friday work style.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, and/or relevant work experience
  • 0-3+ years of experience in IT, including network operations and complex systems and programming
  • Proficient understanding of Java/J2EE, JavaScript, JQuery, HTML5, CSS, and SQL
  • Familiarity with Linux, Apache, Tomcat, Oracle, and AWS
  • Proficient understanding of Web development
  • Familiarity with server environments
  • Strong interpersonal and organization skills
  • Team player attitude with an eagerness to learn and the ability to work independently
  • Demonstrates a collaborative, service-oriented mindset with a strong desire to help colleagues and stakeholders succeed

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of SAP (or other ERP systems) is a plus
  • Bilingual (English, Korean) is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Support the design, development, and implementation of web technologies
  • Develops and maintain web applications using various programming languages, frameworks, and tools
  • Demonstrate ability and solid work ethic to perform technical tasks including analysis, design, coding, debugging and implementation of web applications
  • Collaborate with customers, vendors and other departments to coordinate the projects and identify opportunities for improvement
  • Maintain records and prepare reports to fulfill business requirements
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management
