We are seeking a highly skilled IT System Administrator to join our global IT operations team. This role combines end-user support with on-site infrastructure management, supporting Surecomp’s environment.

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support for desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and enterprise applications
  • Troubleshoot issues related to Windows/Linux OS, Office 365, network connectivity, VPN, and user access
  • Support identity and access management via Okta (SSO, MFA)
  • Handle user-related security incidents in coordination with SOC
  • Maintain server cabinet / edge infrastructure
  • Support VMware hosts, Juniper switches, and Checkpoint connectivity
  • Perform hardware diagnostics and connectivity validation
  • Support VMware (monitoring, restart, troubleshooting)
  • Administer Windows Server and basic Linux systems
  • Monitor backups using Commvault
  • Perform restore tests
  • Support data recovery drills and failover scenarios
  • Respond to CrowdStrike alerts
  • Execute containment actions and escalate when needed
  • Troubleshoot VLANs, switching, and firewall connectivity
  • Coordinate changes with global teams
  • Manage all work via JIRA tickets
  • Maintain documentation and SLA tracking
  • Participate in weekly global IT meetings
  • Collaborating with global IT teams
  • Enforce MFA and Zero Trust principles
  • Ensure audit logging
  • Follow NIST / ISO 27001 best practices
