We are looking for a versatile and proactive IT System Administrator to support, maintain, and scale our internal infrastructure and business systems. This role is ideal for a hands-on problem solver with strong Linux and infrastructure fundamentals, solid networking knowledge, and practical experience with Windows and Microsoft 365 environments.
You will focus on day-to-day systems administration, infrastructure reliability, and operational improvements. For a candidate eager to grow, this role offers exciting opportunities to expand into advanced automation, infrastructure as code, and complex SaaS/system integrations.

Requirements

• At least 4 years in systems administration, infrastructure, or internal IT operations roles.
• Strong experience administering Linux systems in a production environment, alongside working experience supporting Windows environments.
• Solid understanding of server administration, system troubleshooting, monitoring, and core networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, routing, firewalls, VPNs).
• Hands-on experience administering M365 environments, including Entra ID and core collaboration/identity services.
• Experience writing scripts or automations using Bash, Python, PowerShell, or similar languages.
• Proven ability to independently troubleshoot complex technical issues across disparate systems and internal infrastructure.
• Strong documentation habits, excellent communication skills, and a demonstrated ability to learn new tools and platforms quickly.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with AWS infrastructure (EC2, S3, IAM, or related services).
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or Ansible.
• Experience with Docker or containerized environments.
• Previous experience administering physical or virtual network devices (switches, firewalls, VPN appliances).
• Experience building automations using APIs and vendor documentation to integrate SaaS platforms with internal systems.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and resolve escalated infrastructure, systems, and application issues.
• Support core IT operations, including employee onboarding/offboarding, access provisioning, and internal system configurations.
• Maintain clear, up-to-date technical documentation for infrastructure, procedures, and system changes.
• Collaborate closely with engineering and internal teams on technical initiatives.
• Administer and maintain Linux and Windows server environments supporting core internal services and applications.
• Support and manage Microsoft 365 services, including Entra ID (formerly Azure AD), Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, and overall access management.
• Monitor system health, performance, and reliability, actively identifying areas to improve operational processes.
• Manage and improve internal infrastructure across servers, networking, cloud services, and identity systems.
• Administer and troubleshoot network infrastructure, including switches, firewalls, VPNs, DNS, DHCP, and internal connectivity.
• Develop and maintain scripts (Bash, Python, PowerShell) to improve operational efficiency and eliminate manual toil.
• Contribute to system integrations and automation between internal and external platforms as business needs evolve.
