About The Position

Our synergetic Ethos IT Team is growing and seeking a full-time IT Systems Administration Lead (REMOTE) to provide technical leadership across IT infrastructure, systems, and engineering operations. This role is responsible for overseeing Tier 3 systems administration, driving infrastructure strategy, and ensuring alignment across engineering, service desk, and security functions to support business operations.

Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field. Relevant experience may be a substitute for formal education.
• Minimum of 5+ years of progressive, hands-on experience in systems administration and infrastructure engineering (required).
• Strong AWS administration experience, including EC2, S3, IAM, VPC, and CloudWatch (required).
• Proven leadership experience in a senior, lead, or architect-level infrastructure role.

Nice To Haves

• Relevant Microsoft or AWS certifications (strongly preferred).

Responsibilities

• Lead Tier 3 systems administration and engineering efforts, providing guidance and direction to the team.
• Own and execute strategy for AWS, Microsoft 365, and core systems infrastructure.
• Oversee prioritization and resolution of complex technical issues.
• Establish and enforce system configurations, documentation, and engineering standards.
• Partner with Service Desk and Security teams to improve processes, service delivery, and compliance.
• Support implementation of controls, risk mitigation, and compliance requirements.
• Serve as a key advisor to IT leadership and drive execution of technical initiatives.
